Mobile Ads Are A Hit With 18-34 Year-Olds!


Do you know what demographic bests responds to mobile ads?


Generation Y, or the newly labeled Generation C by Neilsen and NM Incite’s U.S Digital Consumer Report, the 18-34 year olds has proven so far to be the most responsive to mobile advertising.  A recent study by RadiumOne found showed that this generation is one of the most lucrative markets for brands to infiltrate.  It was reported that 50% of respondents are sharing offers with their friends by way of their smartphone and 47% report they have clicked on a mobile ad int he past 3 months.    In other results, 54% said to make a purchase from a mobile device in the past 6 months, of which 32% made 1-3 purchases, 14 % between 3-6, and 9% made 6 or more purchases.  Wow!  About 55% are using their mobile device to comparison shop at least once a week.  These results are a great indicator of how brands can communicate with one of the most influential and mobile consumer groups of this time.  This generation is social sharing via mobile devices and are highly influential to the brands out there!
